Mary Anne Tillona has assisted Medidata Solutions, a leading provider of electronic data capture software solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, to address a variety of its legal needs. She provided a full range of legal advice to Medidata’s senior management prior to the company retaining its own in-house counsel. Mary Anne drafted and negotiated a number of software license agreements with large pharmaceutical companies and negotiated critical vendor agreements on behalf of the company. She also worked extensively with the company in establishing its sales channel by drafting and negotiating agreements with channel partners. In addition, she has served as a resource for the company on issues such as corporate branding, and litigation. Mary Anne continues to provide legal services to the company during peak periods and assists with special projects which tax the limits of internal legal department staff.
National Council on Aging
Mary Anne has negotiated many vendor and provider agreements on behalf of NCOA, a national not-for-profit organization serving the needs of the aging community in the United States. These include agreements with large national for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including various health plans and large pharmaceutical companies. She has assisted NCOA with the preparation of documents implementing NCOA’s Chronic Disease Self Management program conducted in conjunction with Stanford University and represented NCOA in its license negotiations with Stanford. She continues to provide legal services to NCOA.
